Up until the 16th century honey bees were only found in the New World where they originally envolved long before man kind appeared in the scene. Honey bees originally made their nests in tree hallows and crevices in the rocks and cliffs. Along about 1851 a man named Lorenzo Langstroth found a way to get honey without getting stung. He made a box the put the hives in and you have to wear these big white sting proof suit.

Honey bees were only in one place but as people moved they learned how to bring the bees with them. They used smoke to keep the bees away while they stole the honey from the bees.

History of The Honey Bee
Honey bees are found all over he world except for the polar regions. In the 16th century honey bees evolved before man kind,and were only found in the new world.
Primitive man learned how to get the honey out of bee hives using smoke from a fire,,therfore they didnt get stung.
When people migrated from the old world the figured out a way to bring bees with them using fake hives called straw skeps. but when they tried getting the honey out of the skeps they had to destroy them.
In 1851 Lorenzo Langstroth had a fancy for honey bees, he is the one who built the modern bee hive today.

we learned that smoke and fire will keep bees away. we also learned that in 1851 they didn't use smoke they used there bare hands.

" History of the Honey Bee" is about a person named Lorenzo Langstroth who had made a hive that you could get the honey from without having to destroy it. In the old world they would take bees with them by using skeps.

Honey bees live all over the world exept for the very cold regions. Eventually man learned how to obtain honey from the bees but it was also pretty painful geting stung alot. As people traveled around the world they learned hwo to bring bees with them in man made hives called skeps, but to get the honey they ned to completely destroy the hive. Then a guy named Lorenzo Langstroth came along and invented the the worlds best bee keeping hive that we stilluse to this day.

Bees have been on this planet long before man kind. But oddly enough it was man who figured out how to get honey, and to use fire and smoke to keep the bees away and stop them from stinging themselves. In 1851 a man by the name of Lorenzo Langstroth figured out a way to keep bees, so people could get honey. After going to his friends house, who evadently was a bee keeper, he decided to make a frame and put a honey comb in the middle of the frame, so he could take the comb out and get the honey and put it back in, without getting stung.

Bees were originally found in the new world up until the 16th century; the bees are now found all over except for the Polar Regions. When the primitive first acknowledge the concept that to get honey you were to go through all the bees first, that is when he realized that smoke from fire was the best way to evacuate the bees from the hive. When the primitive man learned more about the bees they came to realize that to migrate the bees they had to create movable hive [created of straw (these were called “Skeps”)], however in the process of collecting the honey from the migrated hive all the bees were killed along with the hive.
Later on, an American Lorenzo Langstroth who had developed a “keen interest” in honey bees after he had visited his friend who was a bee keeper, Langstroth was later responsible for creating the modern hive used throughout the world today. The modern hive uses precise spacing’s that allow the bee keepers to inspect the hive.

You will find honey bee's all around the world. Honey bees around the would work together the make a honey comb.
Up until the 16th century honey bees were only found in the New world where they originally envolved long before man kind appeared in the scene.
Farmers found that if you put smoke by a place that you don't want the bees to build, the bees will stay away frome that area and build somewhere else.
