There are about 2.9 million colonies in the United States today! Two million of theses colonies are on the move every year to pollinate crops and make honey and beeswax. Bees were rented to pollinate apples in New Jersey. Bees take pollen form the male to the female of flowers. Bees pollinate 95 crops in the U.S. alone each year.
